Our Family Soft Tacos


  • 1 lb. shredded chicken
  • 1 tbsp Our Family® Olive Oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 packet Our Family® Taco Seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups Our Family® Taco Blend Cheese
  • ¾ cup Our Family® Chili Beans
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup diced cilantro
  • 12 each Our Family® Taco Size Flour Tortillas
  • Optional Taco Toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, diced red onion, Our Family® Taco Sauce, Our Family® Sour Cream, guacamole.


  1. Heat Olive Oil in skillet over medium heat and add onion, sauté until translucent or 6 to 7 minutes. Add shredded chicken, add Our Family Taco Seasoning and follow package directions, and drained Our Family Chili Beans, Stir well. Remove from heat when most of the liquid has evaporated.
  2. Lightly coat Our Family White Corn Soft Taco Shells with Our Family Vegetable Oil Cooking Spray and place on a grill, if available, turning after 30 seconds until shells are soft. If a grill is not available, heat oven to 400° f and place shells directly on rack, following the same steps as on grill.
  3. Fill the bottom of Our Family Flour Soft Taco Shells with approximately ⅛ cup of prepared taco meat. Add Our Family Taco Blend Cheese to tacos and other preferred toppings. Finish with fresh cilantro and Our Family Taco Sauce.
