Ingredients
2 cloves fresh garlic
1 Tbsp Our Family® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 – 7oz can Chipotle chilis in adobo sauce
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 – 15oz cans Our Family® Dark Red Kidney Beans
1 – 15oz can Our Family® Black Beans, drained
3 – 14.5oz can Our Family® Diced Tomatoes with Chili’s, not drained
1 – 14.5oz can Our Family® Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, not drained
1 – 15oz can Our Family® Tomato Sauce
1 package Our Family® Chili Seasoning
1 tsp Our Family® Salt
2 cups Our Family® Finely Cut Colby Jack
Our Family® Sour Cream
1 tomato, diced
4 green onions, cleaned and chopped
2 Tbsp Our Family® Salted Butter
Directions
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoon Our Family Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onion and garlic. When beef is cooked through and the onions are becoming soft and clear, add chipotle peppers and adobo sauce. Cook over medium heat for five minutes. Reduce heat and add Our Family Dark Red Kidney and Black Beans, Our Family Diced Tomatoes and Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, Our Family Tomato Sauce, Our Family Chili Seasoning and Salt to the beef, onions and garlic. Cover and cook on low 1.5 hours or until desired flavor is reached throughout the chili.
Serve chili with Our Family Finely Cut Colby Jack Cheese, Our Family Sour Cream, green onions, sliced jalapeños and diced tomatoes.
