Blue Cheese & Grape Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 (13-ounce) French baguette, sliced 1/2-inch thick crosswise (about 32 slices)
  • 3 Tbsp Our Family® Extra Light Olive Oil
  • 1 wedge (8 ounces) blue cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Our Family® Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 16 red grapes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup Our Family® Chopped Walnuts
  •  Sliced fresh chives for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°; line rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. Place baguette slices in single layer on prepared pan; brush both sides with oil and bake 10 minutes or until crisp. Cool crostini completely. Makes 32 crostini.
  2. In medium bowl, with mixer on medium-high speed, beat cheese and cream 2 minutes or until incorporated, scraping down bowl occasionally. Makes about 1 cup cheese mixture.
  3. Spread crostini with cheese mixture; top with grapes and walnuts, and garnish with chives, if desired. Makes 32 crostini.
