Pimento Cheese Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients

  • 10 Jalapenos
  • 4 oz. Our Family® Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp Our Family® Mayo
  • 3 Tbsp diced pimientos
  • 1 cup Our Family® Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp Finest Reserve by Our Family® Creole Seasoning, plus more for garnish
  • 1 can Our Family® Crescent Rolls, each triangle cut in half

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Meanwhile, slice jalapenos in half and remove seeds and ribs.
  2. Next, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar, pimentos, and seasoning to a medium bowl and mix to combine.
  3. When jalapenos are cool enough to handle, fill each half with about 1 tbsp of the cheese filling. After all halves are filled, wrap each jalapeno in a piece of crescent roll dough, placing them on a baking sheet seam side down.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until dough is cooked through and cheese filling is bubbly.
  5. Let cool for about five minutes then sprinkle with more seasoning, if desired.
