Breakfast Egg Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup Our Family® Bulk Breakfast Sausage
  • 5 Our Family® Eggs
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1⁄2 tsp Our Family® Salt
  • 1⁄2 tsp Our Family® Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Our Family® Fancy Colby Jack Shredded Cheese
  • 12 eggroll wrappers
  • 3 cups Our Family® Vegetable Oil

Cheese Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp Our Family® Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Our Family® All Purpose Bleached Flour
  • 1⁄2 tsp Our Family® Salt
  • 1⁄2 tsp Our Family® Garlic Powder of minced fresh Garlic
  •  clove
  • 1⁄2 cup Our Family® Vitamin D Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Our Family® Fancy Colby Jack Shredded Cheese

Directions

  1. Cook sausage until fully cooked and no longer pink, drain and return to pan.
  2. Add eggs, Our Family Salt, Our Family Ground Black Pepper, Our Family Fancy Colby Jack Shredded Cheese and green onions. Stir until mixture is completely cooked and no liquid remains.
  3. With one corner of your eggroll wrapper directly facing you, put about ¼ cup of the egg mixture just below the center, then fold bottom corner over filling, wet all corners with water and fold sides in over filling, continue rolling tightly and make sure the end seals.
  4. Fry in 350 degree oil until golden brown.
  5. Melt Our Family Butter in sauce pan. Add Our Family Flour, Our Family Salt and Our Family Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic. Whisk constantly for about one minute, slowly add Our Family Vitamin D Milk and continue whisking until thick.
  6. Add 3 cups of the cheese and continue whisking until melted.
  7. Serve with egg rolls.
